Inspired by the Inukshuk structure of rough stones stacked in the form of a human figure, traditionally used by Inuit people as a landmark or a commemorative sign, navigation, as a point of reference, a marker for travel routes.
These structures are very common in Vancouver and on the West Coast, I've designed and created this sliding pendant with a sterling silver square tube, peg-set pearls and hematite bead.
