Collection: Woven Collection

My very first production collection was formulated during my senior year at Parsons School of Design.  I drew on the woven techniques and inspiration from my recently-deceased high school art teacher, who was an established textile artist.  The Woven Collection has grown over the past 30+ years and its organic appeal remains to this day.  The designs of this collection also take on the feel and movements of Chinese calligraphy, something that I practiced constantly at an early age.  Similar to all of my jewelry designs, the elements of this collection carry my esthetics of “East meets West”.

Pieces in my Woven Collection are made in sterling silver, sometimes adding high-karat gold accents. Different finishes such as high polish, scribble texture and oxidization create the interplay of contrast to complement the highlights added by diamonds, pearls and other precious stones.
