Collection: Sea to Sky Collection
My “one-of-a-kind” Sea to Sky Collection expresses peace of mind among the beautiful and soaring natural scenery of Vancouver. The images evoked by the Dendritic Opals, “known as the stone of abundance”, are breathtaking and highly spiritual with each stone telling its own individual story.
The Dendritic Opal was formed from ancient fossilized tree roots and embodies the very essence of being close to nature. They also resemble my father’s classical black and white Chinese ink paintings. The images I see in these stones ground my senses among the dramatic waves, forests, mist and mountains found all along the beautiful Sea to Sky Highway on Vancouver’s North Shore.
Items in this collection are one-of-a-kind pieces whose design is inspired by the story told by each individual stone. The stone’s imagery acts as a guiding spirit for my selection of settings and finishes.
